Ways to Make Your Friends and Family Save the Date For Sure
No matter what kind of gathering you are planning, it is almost impossible to get people to show up these days unless it’s a wedding with fancy save the date cards and an invitation that costs more than a months worth of groceries. But what if you are planning your kid’s birthday party or your baby shower? It seems like people are cancelling at the last minute with one ridiculous excuse after another. So here are a few ways to make sure they come to your get together.
First, sending out personalized kids party invitations to each and every one of the kids and their parents might do the trick. You simply have to be polite about it and make your event higher up on their social calendar than what they had planned beforehand. No one ever sends invites through the mail anymore and it can be a nice touch since you put in that extra effort.
Try to avoid any religious conflicts or holidays when you plan your event as well. Planning something on a busy weekend is a sure fire way to have a lousy turnout. So the next time you start planning something special to you, look at the calendar and send out those new baby invitations as early as possible.
